  • Beschrijving: A young and beautiful girl, Christina, lives all alone in a secluded villa. One day,. She falls victim to a group of unknown thieves, who steal all of her valuable family jewelry. The local police chief investigating the case is intrigued by her secretive existence and pressures her to tell him about her past. She tells him about her acquaintance with an American soldier. She meets the charming Dimitris, who gives some meaning to her life, without knowing that he has been assigned by the chief to investigate her private life and to learn her secrets. In the meantime, she tells the chief about her relationship with a gigolo she had met at the horse track, as well as with a lesbian dancer, Vera, whom she had met at a nightclub. Dimitris questions Vera because she is wearing one of Christina’s rings, but she verifies that it was simply a gift. When he discovers that this was actually a lie, Dimitris arrests her just before she has a chance to escape to America. The girl, however, manages to reveal the young man’s true identity to Christina. Dimitris, who in the meantime has fallen in love with Christina, goes to meet her determined to join his life and hers forever.
